Kindergarten Math

This blog explores different picture books that can be used to help explain math concepts. I focused on Kindergarten math, but I believe many of these lessons can be altered to better fit other grade levels.

In order to find books on the same topic, I used the South Carolina Math Standard K-2: The student will demonstrate through the mathematical processes an emerging sense of quantity and numeral relationships, sets, and place values. More specifically, each lesson or center addresses the indicator K2.4- Represent simple joining and separating situations through 10.

Enjoy!
